Does Cathay publish an award chart?
Yes, distance-based. Long-haul business, Hong Kong to London or the US West Coast, is 88,000 miles one way on the current chart, with separate charts for partner awards and a oneworld multi-carrier chart for trips on several airlines. Do Asia Miles expire?
Only with total inactivity: the balance lapses 18 months after your last earn or redemption, and any single transaction resets all of it for another 18. An account that books an award after topping up is safe by construction.
Can I upgrade a Cathay Pacific flight with miles?
Yes, one cabin up, from eligible fare classes; the cheapest economy buckets and most non-Cathay-operated flights are excluded. Check your ticket's fare class first, then buy the miles the upgrade needs.
What is Asia Miles now?
The mileage currency of Cathay, the programme that replaced the Marco Polo Club and standalone Asia Miles in 2022. Your miles live in your Cathay membership account and work like any major program's; this page's rate, limits and delivery window all refer to it.
