Buy Southwest points, or let us book the flight.

The honest answer about buying Rapid Rewards points: the supply is thin, and because Southwest prices seats in points at a near-fixed rate, buying them saves you almost nothing. So we don't sell them. Tell us the flight you want and we'll book it in your own name at a firm price.

What these points are good for. These are the flights we find and book, ticketed in your name.

Great valueThe awards worth flying this program for

Every seat is bookable

Rapid Rewards has no blackout dates; if a fare is for sale, points can book it, so there is always a seat to book.

Refundable bookings

Points bookings can be cancelled back to your account, which makes buying for a specific trip far less risky than most programs.

Companion Pass holders

If you hold a Companion Pass, every points booking carries a second traveller for taxes only, which doubles what every award is worth.

The straight answer

Why we don't sell Rapid Rewards miles

Rapid Rewards miles are hard to source safely right now: the supply is thin, and a cheap balance that gets a Rapid Rewards account frozen or emptied is no bargain. So instead of selling you the risk, we book the seat — the Southwest Airlines flight in your own name, at one firm price, with your loyalty account never involved. Need the miles themselves? Tell us anyway and we'll say honestly whether we can help.

Buying Southwest Airlines miles — your questions

How much does it cost to buy Southwest Airlines miles?
We don't sell Southwest Airlines miles right now: Rapid Rewards is one of the few we can't source at a standard worth standing behind. What we price instead is the finished seat. Tell us the route and dates, and your quote is one firm all-in dollar figure for the ticket, confirmed before any payment is made.
Can you buy Southwest Airlines miles?
Plenty of sites will say yes. In practice Rapid Rewards miles are difficult to source at trustworthy scale, which is why we don't offer them: a cheap balance that gets a Rapid Rewards account flagged is no bargain. What we offer is the same outcome with less risk: the seat itself, booked with Southwest Airlines and ticketed in your own name. We are not affiliated with any airline or loyalty program.
How fast are Rapid Rewards miles delivered?
There's no miles transfer on Rapid Rewards orders. Once you approve the quote we book the award, and Southwest Airlines issues the ticket in your name. Your confirmation carries a booking reference you can verify with the airline directly.
Does Southwest have an award chart?
No. Points price off the cash fare, and since March 2025 the exact conversion floats by flight, typically between 1.1 and 1.5 cents per point. A cheap cash fare means a cheap award and every seat on sale is bookable. Send us the route and we'll price the award against the fare.
Do Rapid Rewards points expire?
No. Southwest ended expiry in 2019 and there's no activity requirement. One caveat: a very long dormant account can itself be closed, taking the balance with it, so logging in occasionally is worthwhile.
Can I upgrade a Southwest flight with points?
There's no premium cabin to upgrade into. Since assigned seating arrived in January 2026, Extra Legroom rows are sold for cash or bundled into higher fares, and points can simply book those higher fare bundles directly.
Does the Companion Pass work on points bookings?
Yes. If you hold a Companion Pass, your companion flies for taxes and fees on award tickets too, which doubles what every point in your account is worth for two travellers.
What payment methods do you accept?
We'll confirm the accepted payment methods when we send your quote. Payment is always handled off this site.
Is this legitimate?
Yes. We've completed 5,000+ transfers. You get a firm quote confirming your exact rate and delivery window before any payment is made, and the miles go into an account you already control.
Will this affect my Rapid Rewards account?
Your account isn't involved at all, and that's the point. The ticket is booked and issued in your own name, so there is no transfer into your account and nothing for the program to question.
